EPA releases nearly 7000 public submissions to GHG emissions inquiry

THURSDAY, October 3, 2019: Western Australia’s environmental watchdog has released nearly 7000 public submissions into its inquiry into revised guidelines for greenhouse gas emissions in the state.

The submissions were received from industry, conservation groups and individuals.

Earlier this year the EPA was forced to withdraw its initial guidelines on GHG emissions after major oil and gas companies led by Woodside demanded the Premier intervene and order the EPA to take its ideas back to the drawing board.
